Following Batman: The Brave and the Bold, which was praised for its lighthearted nature, Warner Bros. greenlit a new Batman series with a more serious tone. There must always be a Batman show on the air. Even if that show is Batwheels. In this instance it was 2014’s Beware the Batman.
